A new Camera for the Raspberry Pi!

3 years after the first version the RaspberryPi foundation renovates its camera!

The design and the price remain the same (25€)but it is an 8-megapixel camera instead of a 5-megapixel. It uses a SONYIMX219 sensor capable of 3280 x 2464 pixel stills. 
There is a standard versionwith a green PCB but also an infrared version "Pi Noir” with a black PCBdedicated to the night vision.

The camera is compatible with all the RaspberryPi.

Every year since 1997, the RoboCup Federation organizes the Robocup, a robotics competition to promote robotics, artificial intelligence,informatics and electrical and mechanical engineering.

The aim of this competition is to create an intelligent humanoid soccer-playing robots which by 2050 will be able to beat the current FIFA champions.

It is one of the world’s most important technology events in research and training. This year the 20th Robocup will take place in Leipzig in Germany from 30 June to 3 July. More than 500 teams from 40 countries with 3,500 participants are expected.

There are many other stages of the competition such as "RoboCupRescue", "RoboCup@Home" and "RoboCupJunior".

The Game Boy Zero appeared!

Electronic and gaming passionate Wermy created a Game Boy with a Raspberry Pi!

In addition to Game Boy’s games it offers GameBoy Advance, Super NES, Megadrive and Master System titles. 

Wermy added colour,2 extra buttons "X” and "Y” from an NES controller, and other buttons "L” and "R”on the back.
He also placed an external USB port for a keyboard or mouse, a micro USB port for changing, a HDMI port and Bluetooth.
